- Duration of SDF Waiver: A maximum SDF waiver of 5 nights is available per participant per event, including travel days. Attendees are encouraged to extend their stay beyond the event to explore Bhutan as tourists, during which the standard SDF will apply.
- Participant-Only Waiver: The SDF waiver applies exclusively to registered participants. Accompanying family members or friends are not eligible. Proof of identity will be required for all applicants.
- Year-Round Availability: MICE events can be hosted throughout the year, offering flexibility in planning.
- Authorized Organizers: All MICE events must be organized or hosted by a Bhutanese Tour Operator or Hotel certified by the Department of Tourism (DoTr).
